The things people say

I couldn't help but notice that Julian Edelman said that Brady being suspended was like 'one of your friends going to jail.'

What a curious thing to say, considering that he was teammates (and to some extent friends) with Aaron Hernandez who actually did go to jail.

Does it feel the same as *that* Julian?  The irony isn't lost on me.

I hate the patriots - and I live in New England. Try listening to sports talk radio around here. It's unreal how entitled and spoiled people are when it comes to football. It's disgusting. I can't wait for week 2! PHINS UP!

Brady must be in some special program for incarceration. He goes home every day, can go anywhere he wants during the day, doesn't have to report to any parole officers or attend any self help groups.

Maybe Brady has joined DA, Deflaters Anonymous.

Edelman could, subconsciously, be associating Brady with criminal activity.
What could give him that idea?

I despise all things Patriots or Jets and especially their dumb fans. I don't care for the Bills but at least they were a class act under Levy and their fans are usually OK too.

Well he has to sit at home and listen to his wife nag all day long. I'd say Edelman is right.
