Tannehill has all the tools. Finally has the Head Coach.

Frankly, it is time to stop naysaying our quarterback.   I don't want to hear Omar Kelley and Chris Perkins refer to Ryan as a lemon, a used car.  The disrespect these talking heads have for our quality QB makes me want to boycott them.  The problem with that idea is they are pretty good camp reporters.  It is just they are idiots when it comes to evaluating QB talent.  All QBs need to work on things ALL OF THEM.  Tannehill  keeps getting better no matter what obstacles are thrown at him, 3 head coaches, 3 offensive coordinators, more than 12 different starting offensive lines - most of them bad, and virtually no depth on either side of the ball.

NOW, it appears we have health and depth across the O-Line.  Our receiving corps looks better than most with an excellent cross-section of skills.  And, most importantly Ryan now has a coach and a scheme that will further his development.  Personally, I would be completely surprised if the Dolphins offense averages less than 26 points per game for the entire 2016 regular season.

He threw for over 4,000 yards the past two seasons and has significantly improved his TD to INT ratio as well. And that was with being hampered with not being able to change the play at the line of scrimmage. Who knows what kind of numbers he could have had had he been able to audible out of a bad play.

I like RT and he does have all the necessary physical tools. Great arm strength, height, weight, foot speed is incredible and the toughness to get completely crushed and still get back up.

Those reporters have to get clicks on their sites and they are paid to have a following. The easiest way to attract attention is through negativity. Everyone stops at the car accident and nobody stops to smell the roses.

I agree with you guys. I get sick of Omar bashing Tannehill. I can't wait for him to climb into top 10 and shut Omar up once and for all.

I've said it for years, Omar Kelly breeds drama and then gets mad when you catch him making an ass of himself of retracting words and blocks you from conversing with him. It's quite entertaining. Armando Salguero is by far the best Dolphins writer. He tells it like it is whether it be good or bad and I never get The "bashing" vibe from him. Great reporter

Totally agree - I have liked Tannehill since we drafted him and have been amazed at how good he has been under very difficult circumstances. Rally the simpler questions is "Who would you rather have than Tannehill that is not named Brady or Rodgers", for me I take Tannehill above Brady for long term availability, I really consider Rodgers only marginally better than Tannehill with much more wear and experience on him. Others? Carr - No, Brees, Rivers - meh, E. Manning - hell no, Fitz - lol, Palmer - see Brady; Ryan, Taylor, Cutler, Osweiler, Winston, Cousins - nah, Newton, Bortles, Wilson - maybe, Stafford, Bradford - NO, the point is - I am thankful for Tannehill not even a little bit thinking we need a new QB.

I would take Carr and Bortles over Tannehill

Lawrence Chavez:

I agree that Armando is a much better sports writer. He also takes criticism well. I've sent Armondo an e-mail complaining about something he wrote and he replied to me respectfully disagreeing with my analysis. As for Taking Carr or Bortles over Tannehill, I say no way. Carr had one good year but no way does that make him better. Tannehill has had a steep learning curve due to his lack of college experience, his lack of decent coaching, and his poor offensive lines he played behind. I truly believe Tannehill can be every bit as good as Wilson or Luck (who had a terrible year last year) and will prove it to all the naysayers this year. GO PHINS~!

You guys are all correct. Armando is the class of the south Florida reporters and Tannehill is a very good QB with tremendous upside potential. Great posts!
