Another loss, another scapegoat

So the Dolphins decide to fire lazor ... Because .... Uhhh... I have no idea.

Could have fired him weeks ago of course.

Now everything is fixed! Woot!

This whole organization stinks....I'd rather buy a ticket to sail on the Titanic than buy a ticket to watch these buffoons play....PATHETIC..!

it's ugly for sure....but Lazor was just like Philbin...ho hum. No balls; few creative plays and again, we've not seen Dolphin coaching mold their plan to the talent we have since Shula. We have talent but for so many guys not to thrive HAS to be the scheme, plan, etc. I think Ross wants to win; willing to spend big bucks but his front office and coaching staff has never been anything close to elite and he's NOT a football guy. Mr Ross- ask Marino to assemble a group of football guys and buy the team. Please don't make us keep suffering every year. Do the right thing and sell now....With Marino a partner we have a much better chance of luring a real proven HC

Lazor refused to run the ball, never rolled out tannehill to throw on the run or let him run no huddle which are his best 2 attributes, won't help this year and we still have a defense giving up 38 to the offensively challenged jets and 31 against the run. Shit looks bleak

It is indeed ugly, but I am sure Ross and Tannebaum have someone in mind already. We'll see what they come up with. Maybe they can hire the staff early, now that that fear of pulling a Sparano-Harbaugh is gone?

The past and present team owners have tried. Former Super Bowl great Jimmy Johnson, and his draft-wrecking assistant; the lying college guru Saban who couldn't inspire anyone over the age of 22; two hot offensive minds (Cameron and Lazor--before the hate began); the hard nosed OL coach blessed by Parcells; even the finesse mind of a Green Bay assistant. All kinds of pedigree, all respectable hires in their own times. So it's not for a lack of trying, or tight wallets. I am glad that all I have to do is sit back and not buy tickets.

Where we go from here? FFNJ, I'm not sure we want burn our last solid bridge (Marino) at this point either. It's like drilling for oil in Alaska--probably better to leave it alone so it won't be tarnished then to drill it fill of holes and leave it smelling like Texas (the jets). At least now that the entire coaching staff has been gutted, the ownership can work on getting the next staff together. There's gotta be a young candidate out there with new ideas who has been getting snubbed. That'd be too risky--we'll probably end up with some unemployed old school coach, someone in the Coughlin/Schottenheimer mold, who wants to retire to the warm south and give it one more go. Did I just make an argument for Bill Cowher?--Oh the end is near! But I'll take an old timer if they can teach a center to hike a ball, or know a scout who can recognize a linebacker. Perhaps they can establish a freaking O-line FOR ONCE, so that our serviceable players (Lamar Miller and yes, Tanny) can succeed for us. Maybe Suh and the next coach will bond and fashion a defensive monster from the rubble? Maybe they'll get old what's-his-name, the doper, Jordan, to step in for Wake next year?

Oh man. What are the prospects at positions 8-10 in the 2016 draft again?

Stay strong fin fans, the pressure is off now.

P.s. Sorry Dan Campbell, you seem like a stand-up dude. Fan hate is a terrible thing...any chance you'll stick around after the demotion? Didn't think so. I am sure Rex would love to reunite you with Clay again....he seems to have a fetish for our former head coaches.
