Nothing to see here...

After 20 or so years of rooting for the team, 9 head coaches, 2 owners, a couple of early playoff wins, and a LOT of mediocrity, I can't take it anymore. I have decided to turn in my Dolphins fan card.

This owner is terrible.  And this coach is just awful.  And if that's what we have to settle for, then I want out.

I'm done.  Finito.

Thanks for the memories.

I'll go back to my hobby of creating a shrine; this time for the whole team.

Great news "Ray"! I for one am tired of reading your negative "journalism" anyway. Maybe we'll get a new blogger that knows what a true fan is.

Its negative journalism but correct. you can't write positive journalism if there isn't anything positive to write about.

Wonderful News "Ray"

A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something, such as a band, a sports team. You would be defined as a bandwagon fan. The Chicago Cubs fans define support through thick & thin. It will be nice to see someone with a positive attitude blog here next year and hopefully true Fin fans will realize the next step in this process.

Carl.. Thanks for being one of the sane voices.

I feel the pain, Ray.

Root for the team, you're a "homer" or "bandwagoner". Don't, and you're a negative journalism!

I'll say it again: A rookie, who can't sniff the field, makes a lucky play that Ross uses to keep Philbin.

Ray,

Please take a few days away from kicking. Enjoy Christmas. Enjoy the New Year.

Get refreshed and put "Philbin Out" out of sight for a while.

You are too valuable a contributor to this blog to just walk away. Please reconsider:

You are the whiniest of bed wetters. Every time I make the mistake of clicking on one of your posts on phins.com news wire I wonder I did so. You will not be missed. Viva La Phins.

Oh how I feel Ray's pain. I have myself wanted to walk away...but I can't or won't. Although Failbin is just plain bad as a HC, Coyle is terrible at DC, there's much to be (I hope) hopeful when it comes to this team. We may have gotten lucky with Hickey - he drafted Landry, brought in some good FAs for a change, and I'm hopeful he'll be able to bring in another good draft class next year. The real problem with this franchise is the owner, until that changes or he does something to prove otherwise - it all starts there.

me-di-o-cre: of moderate or low quality, value, ability, or performance: ordinary, so-so.

You scaredy-cats let Ross fill your heads with visions of sugarplums!

-Dolphins fan, reserving the right to detest mediocre.
