And then there were none

Only two teams make it to 3-0 and both lose by wide margins this weekend.

And so the dolphins remain as the only undefeated team I the annals of pro sports. And given the parity that exists these days, it's unlikely any team will ever duplicate that feat.

In only 5 weeks too!
We couldn't lose last night as either NE or Cincinnati was gonna take a loss.
Congrats to the 1972 team and those of us who cherish their accomplishment.

I'm disappointed in the Sunday night game. I'm not a Bengals fan, but the Patriots showed that when they get it together, they can still be an elite team. AND the Bills won again. Miami can't rely on help from other teams in the division losing at this point. They are going to have to go out there and play consistent EVERY game. EVERY quarter.....and beat teams like the Packers. I can't say I'm overly optimistic at the moment, but I'm hopeful.

Agree Jeremy....I wrote about my expectations on this blog a few weeks ago titled, "let's stop the excuses and have some standards as a fan base"...

go .500 and win the divisional games and we are in. I EXPECT the team to sweep the Jets and beat the Bills on Thursday night in Miami. The Packers and Chargers are playing very good football so I am not going to freak out if we lose a game in particular a non-conference. But we have to step up and take the East this year!

go .500 in non divisional games and win 3 out of 4 of our remaining games against New England Buffalo and the Jets is what I mean

Just win baby!!!
I want them all. 14-2 home field throughout.

Agree GoFins, I don't mind if we lose to green bay, San diego or Chicago, BUT, I expect them to compete. This blowout crap is unacceptable, this Dolphins team is too talented for that nonsense

I would have rather Cincy won.

Agreed Lawrence, Miami needs to play like they did against the Raiders every game. For all four quarters. I'd love to use the Pats game as an example as well, but even that level of play won't be enough to do better than 8-8 because in that game, they sucked in the first half and Tannehill was mediocre. It's good that we'll have Pouncey back this week, but we really need Moreno back too. The 1-2 punch of Moreno and Miller, the strengthened O-line, Tannehill playing to his potential, and the D playing to theirs and the Packers are going down, but if we don't have at least 3 of those things, I doubt we will win.
