Brain Trauma to Affect One in Three Players, N.F.L. Agrees

My Saturday morning reading included this article. It's a good read, but more importantly, this ties right back to the NFLs image problem.

And it's intriguing that the NFL is agreeing with something they've argued against for decades. How will this admission affect their image?

Ray Rice should sue the NFL.
I don't agree nor condone what he did but the NFL ruled on him and then because of new evidence, i.e. the video, and the public backlash from it, his penalty was changed.
To me that seems ,like Double Jeapordy.
The NFL or Roger Gooddell, in an effort to save face, has basically retried the case which is completely unfair to Ray Rice.
Should the NFL go back through every Domestic Violence case and suspend all those players indefinitely?
How would those players react?

And to add to that, Carl, there are two currently active players in the NFL facing domestic violence charges. One is still in the early stages of allegations and evidence collection; the other has been convicted but is waiting for an appeal to be heard. Neither has been suspended.

How in the world is that fair?

Ray Rice is "getting the business".
