Ryan Tannehill says he would love to play with the Dolphins

Ryan Tannehill is at the scouting combine and he made a comment that would make some Dolphins fan smile. Tannehill said that he would love to play for Mike Sherman in Miami, this coming a few days after Sherman compared Tannehill to Rodgers and Favre. Tannehill is a young player with plenty of upside but the negative is that he is raw and would more than likely need some time to further develop. Tannehill was a WR turned QB (as seen in the picture) and that he still has to improve to become a more polished QB.

However this also indicates that he has plenty of upside and so don't be surprised if after holding the clipboard for a year or two he turns out to be a good QB. The Dolphins would be a perfect fit for Tannehill because he is familiar with Sherman's offense and it shouldn't take him too long to transition to learning the offense.

What I love about this offseason and why I am so excited for it to begin is that one thing is almost certain, the Dolphins will have a new signal caller next season. They have assembled a coaching staff who have worked with Flynn and Tannehill which really goes a long way in that they know how them personally and that reduces some of the risk. I think that the Dolphins have nice options this offseason with Manning, Flynn and Tannehill. I pretty sure one, or more, of the QBs mentioned will be in a Dolphins uniform next year

  1. So Tannerhill says he would like to play here. Hmmm, well so would I. What would we expect him to say ? No, you guys suck I would rather play for the Jets. Some of the questions asked of the players are just plain dumb.

I don't care who the future QB will be, but I think we are short sighted if we think Matt Moore will not be the starter at this time. I agree with you in that I would like to see an upgrade at QB position. I am not how ever going to say Matt Moore needs to move to the bench. If someone comes here and plays better than he does then by all means MM should carry the clipboard, but until that happens Matt Moore is our starter and he should get that respect.

    1. I think that if Flynn or Tannehill come here its a competition for the starting role, however if Manning comes you have got to assume he starts. Also Flynn would have the initial upper hand if he is signed because he knows the offense

  3. I would love to see Flynn, Tannenhill and Moore on the roster. Let Flynn and More compete and mke tannenhill the 3 and use him to bolster the receiving corp this season

    1. No matter what they do at QB in the form of FA if that is the direction they go in, I still want to see them draft a QB.
