Next this morning I went on the Dolphins ticket master website and on the thumbnail in which it said "2012 Miami Dolphins Season" it had a picture of a much lighter color. Here it is below with the link of the ticket master website in which it shows the "new" (if you can call it that) color and the original as well.

Again the Dolphins have not said they were changing their colors and this is speculation on my part. However I think that these two images show that the Dolphins colors could be becoming lighter and could reveal the true Dolphins colors next season. I think more than likely it will be the color you see on the gloves as they were released by Nike and they showed the Panthers new logo on their gloves, which was later confirmed by the Panthers. Also its the offseason and there is not much news from Manning although some rumors have said that the decision could be made by the end of the week.
Hi Dave,
ReplyDeleteI am a graphic designer and a Huge Dolphin Fan. Nike did infact slightly change the design. The same aqua is present, but they have incorporated a gradient from the agua we know and love to a lighter more vibrant version of the color. This helps create more depth in the figure.
The ticket master logo is probably the result of uploading a CYMK (color processed) file to the internet that runs on RGB (color process). I hope this helps further explain your observation.
oh wow, thank you so much in explaining this. That's cool that they thought about making it have more depth. Also thanks for explaining the ticket master logo, that makes a lot of sense now. That explanation was very helpful. I wonder if the uniform color will also change in the process now that the logo is lighter. Rumors have it that they will reveal it during the draft but who knows, it might get leaked before that
