Nothing at all to do with football

I heard this week that U2 will be performing a makeup concert at Joe Robbie stadium

And the marlins graciously gave up a homestand (and will play in Seattle instead) to accommodate.

Then this morning I heard that the U2 concert is on wednesday. But the homestand is Fri-Sun.

It turns out they decided to give the band "extra time to setup the stage".

I had no idea they were putting a roof on the stadium!!

Since the marlins last home game was this past Wednesday, they get a full week to setup a stage.

That must be some stage.
