I find myself a little conflicted about the hiring of Bryan Cox. On the one hand, you have a guy join the team as the "pass rush coach" and he brings an attitude and a nice skill that hopefully he can share with some of the players on the team. And he was always one of my favorites.
But, on the other hand, he comes to a team that always speaks with one voice (the Bootin' Bull), and its unlikely you'll ever hear anything from Cox. Certainly not on the order of the tirade back in the day when he said WIOD could suck his...well, you get the idea. And I have to wonder - with all the problems on offense, and the relative success on defense - if this move was really necessary. I mean, it would be more appropriate if they hired, say, Duper to come in and coach the wideouts - something he's been doing on his own anyway.
