Be a sponsor for Dave's Bitchin' Podcast or Dave's Bitchin Website

I am looking for advertisers and/or sponsors for my podcast and website.

You can get in on the fun that is Bitchin' Dave's Dolphins work.

Why would you want to?

Well, the website (not including the blog) brings in about 750 unique visitors a month.  I'll agree, that ain't so great.  But the blog - as a stand alone page - brings in nearly 4,000 sets of eyeballs who are looking at content each month.  And you can target both.

The podcast does even better!  I have been doing some sort of internet radio/podcast since 2006.  That makes me the longest-running Dolphins podcast (amateur or professional) on the web!  I have experience, and a following that I've cultivated.  I have produced more than 120 shows, and while I still  have fun, I do hit the big topics with the team.

And as you probably realize, I've had some great guests.

The podcast is listed on most of the podcast directory sites, and it is available on iTunes.  It also airs on

During the season, its produced weekly; now during the offseason its more like a monthly show.  They tend to run just under an hour, though sometimes they can roll up to 2 hours if I've got some good guests booked.

Now for the good news: the podcast nets thousands of listens per episode in its current format.  And we're in the offseason.

Think about that as you consider how to target an audience of Dolphins fans.

In the interest of full disclosure, I must also tell you that there's a working arrangement for the podcast between Bitchin' Dave and

As such, any requests to advertise on the podcast would be fully vetted with all parties before we could come to any agreement.

Any website ads relate only to Bitchin' Dave's site. I make no claims as to the site.

Given that, here's what I'm offering:

* You are the sponsor of a time period, and a given set of shows.
* No other ads will be used in those shows
* Two specific mentions of the sponsor will be given per show (they can be read by me, or played in a recorded form; presumably at the beginning and end of the show)
* A link will be provided on the podcast feed, for those shows
* A link will be provided on the blog page of
* A link will be provided on the home page of

* A 30 second ad will run during the show
* A link will be provided on the podcast feed, for that show
* A link will be provided on the blog entry of, specific to that show
* A second ad may run at another time during the podcast (no more than 2 will ever run)

In case you missed it...

A look at the current state of the Dolphins. News and Notes from the
Phins and the NFL.
Plus, I had a chance to talk with former Dolphin DE Jeff Cross, and
you won't want to miss that.

My latest podcast!

Could you try being humble?

The Jets play in the state next to the most hyped, self-important city in the US, and probably the world.  Their jackass coach is a loudmouth who fits right in.
As the Jets head into some of their OTAs, the reports start trickling in about just how great they are.  According to them.  Sexy Rexy is always a motor mouth saying they're not good, but great. Mark Sanchez has started talking about visiting the White House next February (yep, he can get a ticket just like everyone else).  Other players believe they're already champions.
The reality is that they are one bad incident or injury away from going 6-10.  There are no guarantees in the NFL.  Just ask Tom Brady and the Patriots "We're only going to score 17 points?  gufaw, gufaw"  How does 18-1 look when you're smug?
Personally, I hope they keep it up.  Its funny.  And I'll be laughing my ass off when they miss the playoffs!

More OTAs

Once again the Phins started an OTA....I think it was more like the Tour de France than a practice, as many players were riding stationary bikes than actually running around (or so it seemed), but we did have Ronnie Brown take the field, so that's good news.
The defensive line did include Phillip Merling, who arrived from the county jail (and by the way, we hear that they are going to rename part of the jail "wanker hall" and transfer all the former Dolphins there, and put of pictures of ex-cons/former Dolphins, in honor of this off-season's stellar arrest record).  The other lineman apparently showed their support for him by having everyone take off their jerseys after the first practice and running off the field as a team.

The Dolphins decided to part ways with Reggie Torbor and his hefty salary, and keep thinking youth.

A bit of a strange time

A few weeks ago, Nick Rogers - who was with the Dolphins for a cup of
coffee - passed away much too young.

Then, about two weeks ago, Norman Hand - who was with the Fins for a
short time - passed away much too young.

Now comes word that Jarvis Williams has died. One of the "B-2
Bombers" along with Louis Oliver, Jarvis had a decent career in Miami
as a strong safety.

We're saddened by all this news...

Buh bye

Justin Smiley was told to stay away from training camp, and to skip
the OTA....the Phins were rumored to have been looking to trade Smiley
elsewhere as far back as March.

Today, it came to pass. He was traded to the Jags for a "late round
pick," pending his passing a physical in Jacksonville.

The Dolphins then moved to sign veteran guard Corey Proctor away from Dallas.
