Funniest moments in sports

Dave Hyde is running a "contest" to decide the funniest moments in So. Florida sports:

It lived up to the name

The Dolphins hosted Richie Incognito this week, and then signed him to
a contract.

Naturally, they decided to keep the signing low key or....incognito.

Dancing with the Stars

As a followup, Johnny O's experience on DWTS locally was....let's just
say it was not a success.

He told me he had a great time, but that he came in 5th....out of 5.
He reports that the outcome "Could be controversial, but I'm not going
to make an issue of it!"

Regardless, it looks like he was having fun, and he supported a good
cause (the food pantry of broward county

Way to go, John!!!

I love it

Greg Cote made an amusing observation this weekend. Basically, he
said that the Alabama football team visited the White House this week.
And having Nick Saban in the room meant that for once a politician
was not the biggest liar in the room.

Kc joyner expressed an opinion about karlos, namely that he's not an upgrade over ayodele.

I'm trying to run down an interview with kc for my next podcast; I'll be curious to get his thoughts on this topic.

So stay tuned.

The dolphins have hosted only two players thus far and have extended offers to a total of 3. Several players rejected overtures and Miami passed on a couple who expressed interest.

They hope to bring in guard Rich Incognito (wonder if he will be wearing a diguise?) this week. His claim to fame is the number of personal fouls he gets - he has been called the dirtiest player in football. And we don't think they were talking about his laundry. What's up with that?

So I guess Miami is going to stand pat with what they have for the most part??

Meanwhile the jets have arguably improved.

I said I expect Miami to host the afc championship at seasons end. I'm not convinced they're on a pace to get there. But we will see.
