Apparently the crew will clear the clay and put sod on top of the infield.
My question: isn't this something the team should have been doing for the last several years???
I like me some sod, especially after I googled it.
AMEN BROTHER!!!I have been saying for years that it is so "low-rent" to have a team of players that get paid millions upon millions of dollars as part of a enormously lucrative business (NFL) and put them on a playing field that looks dreadful. You put the players at risk for injury and it just looks bad. Playing on a baseball field should be absolutely embarassing to the Miami Dolphins organization. Kudos to Ross.. but what took him so long! The change was inspired by the national spotlight I suspect. -FinFanNo1
