I got asked several times "what was up with that?"
And the answer is, I was waking up at like 4am local time, and was was looking for things to do. I had once seen a show about the construction of that stadium, and as an engineer, I found it fascinating. I really did want to see it for myself. So, early one morning I drove out there.
It is a remarkable structure, and I was totally impressed; I especially love how they roll the grass outside when its not gameday. That allows them to have a natural grass field inside a domed stadium.
As I was looking at it, I realized "hey, that's where the Patriots lost!" and that made it even better, and I wanted to share with y'all.
