I say mysteriously, because it initially went unreported, then it was thought to be minor.
Too bad for him - but then again based on his legal trouble, it was entirely possible (and likely even) that he was going to be suspended for at least a few games this season.
on a technical note, does the injury mean he won't get suspended, or does the suspension just apply next season?
ReplyDeleteHard to say with the way the NFL is working these days and th state of the CBA. My best guess is that he will serve the suspension while injured, which means that he won't be able to work out at the team facility. --Dave
ReplyDeleteTo clarify, the reports says that Merling injured his achilles tendon, not his ACL. They're half a leg apart.
