As if there was any doubt, big football is all about big money.
We have been reminded of that over the last few days as "football factory" schools at the college level have been moving between and among conferences. Why? Because there's a larger pot of money in a bigger - and more nationally exposed - conference.
And while this isn't directly related to the NFL, they should be mindful of this as they considers their next move in the CBA negotiations.
Individual owners similarly want a big payday at the expense of the smaller market teams, and this can have huge impacts on the league on the whole. What of the smaller markets?
