Consider this: X comes from a different background. His father is a lawyer and his mother is a doctor. Could someone interview him as follows: X, is or was your mother a doctor? What was her practice? Did she shape your life? Was she active in your upbringing or was she always at work? Did you spend a lot of time with her? Do you know her friends? Was she a role model? Are her friends role models to you? And what about your dad? Did he practice criminal law? Do you know any of his clients personally? And your mentor or advisor, ... I hear he has a bail bond business in Dallas....
Is it any worse than being asked "Do you hate your mother?" or "Do you have thoughts of killing others?" several different ways when psychological testing is done for certain jobs?
