They gave up what?

The Bears traded for Jay Cutler and a 5th round pick.

They gave up - 2 firsts (one this year and one next), a third, and QB Kyle Orton.  I hear they also threw in a nice set of sheets for Pat Bowlen's nephew (who happens to like the Bears).

Sheesh.  That's a lot of one player of questionable character...

Who does he think he is? Bob Costas?

Count Armando Salguero among those who thing bloggers are useless.   Costas, might I remind you, once said bloggers sit in the mother's basement in their underwear and write in anonimity.  (My mom doesn't have a basement - this is Florida after all! - and I being anonymous isn't my bag; I write this blog, answer emails, and I host a radio show where you can question me).

Anyway, Armando said "Occassionally my job is to play fireman, putting out fires started by rumor-mongers or amateur bloggers posing as reporters with sources that are neither accurate nor credible." Let me be clear: I don't start rumors.  I kid about things, and will point out or otherwise make it obvious if its not true.  I may not be a paid journalist, but that doesn't make me any less credible.

Vote - greatest Dolphin

Earlier this week, I posted a poll for the greatest Dolphin.  Much to my chagrin, I realized that Dan Marino was running away with it by so much that no one else was even receiving any votes.

So, I revised the poll and took off Marino.  He is #1.  But other than him, who do you think it would be???

Jeff Ireland to hold video chat

With less than a month remaining until the NFL Draft, Dol-Fans will have the unique opportunity to participate in a live video chat with Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland. The chat will take place on Friday, April 3, at 10:45 a.m. (ET), exclusively on the team's official web site, MiamiDolphins.com.

Fans can begin submitting their questions now by going to http://www.MiamiDolphins.com/AskJeffIreland

Ireland's chat session marks the second in a series of video chats that the team has planned over the coming weeks. The first chat gave fans the opportunity to ask questions of the team's radio play-by-play announcer Jimmy Cefalo on March 25.
