Offerdahl's comments

At one point, he was talking about a hit he made in Buffalo. That would be this one - I think -

I learned this morning that "T-Rock," one of my fellow Dolphins website owners - and a person I considered a friend - passed away a short time ago.

We weren't that close, but I did enjoy sharing stories and having a little fun when we had an opportunity. For one season, I partnered with him and Big Dave to provide content for PhinFever, instead of maitaining my blog.

Tom, I will miss your wit and sense of humor. You were a passionate fan, and the Dolphins need all the fans they can get! :)

T-Rock is on the right in the above picture

I did a podcast with Tom a season or so ago, and you can listen to it here.

Isn't that something?

The headline reads "Patience pays off in landing 68-pound bull dolphin." You see? I knew they'd get all their draft picks signed in time for the start of training camp.

JTs new number

Jason apparently decided that Andre Carter's demands for compensation were too great, and he appeared at the Redskins practice wearing #55. And that number is now for sale via the Redskins and the NFL.

What amused me is that Zach wasn't able to get 54 in Dallas, so he, too, took 55.

I guess they'll always be connected that way.

Tonight on Fins Radio

Check out Brain and JL, as they will have Dave Wagner, a writer for the website Riggos Rag !

'twas inevitable...wasn't it?

Jason Taylor was traded to the Washington Redskins for a 2nd round pick in '09 and a 6th round pick in '10. The Redskins had two d-linemen go down with injuries on the first day of practice, and there was a need...

...and the Dolphins were willing to listen.

At least Zach and JT's teams will meet up twice a year.

And, he's not playing for the Patriots or Jets.
