In the Dolphins game, and again in the Vikings game, I saw something that baffled me.  The play started, and immediately the whistle blew for a defensive offsides.
But the defender who committed the infraction (the offending defender?) went on to knock down the QB.
And no flag was thrown for unnecessary roughness.
Usually, the QB is well protected, and I've seen a player get ejected under similar circumstances.  But in both cases Sunday, no foul occured.
