Lots o' stuff happening

The coaching staff is rounded out. The tapes have been watched. The evaluations have been made.

And now begins the purge. 9 players were released in advance of the free agency period. Among them were a few older underperformers and one Marty Booker who I argued should have been released 2 years ago.

Also released was Joe Toledo who had a career similar to Yatil Green's; namely he was always injured.

And Anthony Alabi was also released. Its starting to look to me like Nick's players are making their way off the roster, meaning that he really had no eye for talent.

In other news, JT was named the NFL man of the year. And he went a whole year without anyone talking divorce. Good for him. His future is not at all clear, and neither is Zach's.

At QB, it looks like we'll have *another* veteran brought in as the caretaker or whatver. I wonder if Beck will be any good? At least we have someone with potential for the first time...

There was the big sendoff down at the OB between the Canes and Dolphins that I skipped. It looked like it might be fun, but I understand that it was not well enough managed, and was just "okay"...

And of course we can still revel in the Patriots loss. Where is that 19-0 shirt anyway?
