Top draft picks

Okay, so Miami winds up with the 9th overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft.  Jimmy Johnson once said it sucks to draft high in a mediocre draft class.  And never was that more apparent than in 2005, when Miami was faced with a bunch of mediocre talent with the #2 pick overall.  Sure, Ronnie Brown is servicable.  But, he's not an elite back.  Heck, Ronnie scored about 5 TDs this season.  Reggie Bush had 4 in a game this season.

 

And, oh yeah, Ronnie did get 1,000 yards this season.  But remember that it only takes averaging 68 yards a game to get to 1,000.  Players were hitting the mark in the 10th game.  Ronnie missed three, and he hit it in the 16th game.  There's no great accomplishment there...

 

Who will be coaching this team?  What are the needs?  I'm thinking QB is the glaring weakness.  A big time left tackle would help.  And we still need a receiver.  For fun, here is the scouts, inc top 32 players as of today -
