Welcome to the first-ever-of-its-kind round-robin-double-elimination tournament to decide "Cheerleader of the Year" !!!

We have selected the 16 cheer-babes who we think deserve the honor

We have randomly assigned a position to each of them (basically numbering them 1-16)

We have matched 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16

We're asking you to vote on who wins the head-head competition between the two girls

Winners move on to the next round

Losers (and hey, there really are no losers here!) move to the "losers bracket"

Any girl who loses two head-to-head competitions is eliminated (hence the "double elimination")

We repeat the process until all the other girls have been eliminated

The "last one standing" wins the coveted "Cheerleader of the Year"
