Heading into Friday night, there was a lot of speculation about what Miami
would do. It was suspected that they were the team courting Daunte
Culpepper, and that they would give up a second round draft pick before the
start of free agency. Didn't happen. In fact, no one took him before the
deadline.
Drew Brees might get signed at 12:02am, just a minute after the start.
Didn't happen. In fact, he's still deciding where to *visit* first, because
a lot of teams will throw money his way.
And in all, exactly 0 players signed with another team in the first 9 hours
of free agency.
